A 37-year-old missing woman died as the result of a stab wound to the neck and upper chest, an inquest has heard.

Paria Veisi, from Cathays, Cardiff, was last seen on 12 April before South Wales Police confirmed her body was found in the garden of her estranged husband's home in Penylan, Cardiff, a week later, the inquest heard.

Alireza Askari, 41, from Penylan, and Maryam Delvary, 48, from White City Estate, London, have been charged in connection with Ms Veisi's death and will appear at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday.

At Pontypridd Coroner's Court on Thursday, coroner Patricia Morgan described Ms Veisi's death as "violent in nature".
